Web Maestros (July 13, 2006-2009)

I have closed my office today finally. I started it on July 13, 2006 so it makes exact 3 years today. I’d be working as a freelancer till i get a job somewhere. Much relieved as i need not pay the rent and the bills etc anymore.  In 3 years the outcome was almost nothing, i did learn a lot of things and i believe that will help me lots. Obviously it hurts, because i always wanted to have a software house but the plan didnt work out in the end.

My Birthday 2009

It was just another day with nothing special. Last night got calls from Mehr Tauseef and Munazza at 12 o clock.  Got around 39-45 wallposts/comments on facebook and 4-5 scraps on orkut and a few sms on my cellphone.

Later in the day i went to Nathiagali (Dungagali) with my sister and bro. I love going there every now and then. On my last bithday i celebrated my birthday at dungagali with Atta, Faisal and Tahir.

When i came back home i was glad to see a surprise gift waiting for me from my cousin Yasir. Yasir always calls me at 12 o clock on my birthday but last night he didnt and i was thinking how come Yasir forget my birthday but for my surprise he had sent a bouquet of fresh flowers, a cake and a birthday card and really made my day. Thanks Yasir.

few departed loved ones!!

My Grand Mother:

Its going to be 5 years on this April 28 of her death. I never saw my Nana & Nani(both died before my birth) and also my Gradfather(Dada) died one and a half years after my birth so I happened to see only my grandmother (dadi) in life. I really miss my childhood days, my grandmother, my village at times.

My Uncle (Taya)Musahib Khan

He died recently in January. He was ill and we basically went to see him and when we reached there he could survive few minutes after that. He was suffering from cancer and breathed his last on Jan 11, 09.

My Aunt (Imtiaz)

Imtiaz Aunti was my father’s cousin’s wife but we lived together for many years. She was such a nice lady and i realised this after her death. I really miss her lots and I wish she was here.

Sohaib Aslam

When I joined Senior Burn Hall I was in Red Section, Sohaib was in blue or green, so he wasnt my classfellow but still i got to be friends with him. He was physically disabled, had irregular shape of bones of chest, he died when i was i guess in class ninth.

Shehryar Mehmood:

Sherry was in JC/SC and then he came to our class in ninth. A very loving person, very sweet by nature. We used to had “Hand Power Competition” and he always used to beat me. He was basically from Harripur and left us when he died in a car accident.

Amir Chaudary:

Amir was my classfellow in Szabist, I was in Szabist for only one semester. We used to play cricket all day long and one thing i never forget is once i didnt have the money to come back home and he was the one who gave me.  All of us really used to tease him in class. I left Szabist and later came to know about his death and I was in a shock.

Azeem Shahzad:

Azeem Shahzad was my classfellow in MBA, he was also a lecturer in COMSATS but i never happened to be his student. I had an interation with him because of Funkada (Dramatic Society, COMSATS). A very Jolly and loving person who was liked by almost everyone in COMSATS.

May Allah bless you all and you will all be missed and remembered always!

Yasir’s Walima!

I left for Karachi on 19th for Yasir’s Walima. Walima was on 22nd March. The six nights stay in Karachi was simply “Zabardast” and I really am missing the moments spent there, though i didnt get time to visit places this time. Also didnt even get a chance to go to the seaside. The walima was wonderful. Also met my few relatives there. Yasir’s wedding has brought our two families lot more closer. I pray it goes on like this in future. I have all the pix of all the events with me on DVDs.

I had been to Lahore for Yasir’s Mehndi & Barat on March 10 & 11. Reached there on Mar 09. Both the functions went great and I really enjoyed. I will be leaving for Karachi on 19th to attend his Walima on 22nd March. Yasir is just 12 days elder than me and has spent most of his childhood with us. I just wish him all the very best for the future and for the life ahead.
